Has anyone experienced a chirping sound when their foot is not on the clutch. Sounds like a belt chirping?
It is not loud, nor does it affect performance, just a sound, If I just lightly touch the clutch the sound goes away.

Anyone have an idea on the cost to fix it?

From Expedition Imports the price of an entire clutch kit is around 700 when you add up all the parts. I don't know about the Pinz specifically but if I was going to get in there for one part i'd replace them all.
Plus about 2-4 hours labor and you've got a Saturday afternoon into it.
You could probably just throw in the bearing, but do you really want to find that your clutch is about done and have to wait on the other parts for to come in?

The throw out bearing is around $160 if I remember correctly.
Takes about 2-4hrs to replace. A very easy job if you have common sense and average mechanical abilities
Use a graphite based grease to lube the guide and fork ends

I have a slight "chirp" when I release the clutch before it gets driven around a bit. It hasn't gotten any worse in two years though!

The sound I have is constant. When I drive it just goes along with the engine speed. if I rest my foot on the clutch very lightly it stops. So it is beginning to fail. Time to take it to Dennis. Bummer.

it might be the same chirping i just fixed on mine it was the starter backplate remove the seats and the whole engine hatch start the motor and grab the starter w your hands and wiggle it, if it moves even a little bit and the sound goes away its probably that replace the backplate and make shure its snug!
