I feel like an idiot asking...
How hard is a clutch job? And TOB?
How heavy is the trans? Any clutch align tool out there?
Thanks
I just need to save the $$$
I have mechanical knowledge, just never a pinz

Easy job, 1-4 hrs, uses standard GM10 spline tool, also same as mid 60's Mercedes.

Do you need the clutch align tool to do the job? I am about to do mine but dont have any alignment tools. Would I be advised to get one and roughly how much are they?

Easy job - you can do it without an alignment tool, but its much easier with, and as mentioned above, at the price its not worth messing about without one.
It was the first "big" job I did on my Pinz and I was amazed how straightforward everything was - much easier than on a conventional 4x4 pick up, for example.
The trans is really light - you can handle it by yourself no problem at all - don't even need a jack or engine crane - guessing, I'd say its less than 100lb, probably quite a bit less. I lifted it in and out myself and I only weigh 168!
Hope this helps.
