I am having an oil leak form the transfer case on my 716k.
Should the tran. case be removed for overhaul, what sort of job shoud I be prepared to do? (or ask the repairman to do?)
Would the damn thing drop down by undoing some bolts, or is a central tube extensive disassembly work needed?

You must support the body and remove the rear diff to remove the t-case.
