The other day, I was watching Pinz offroad videos on youtube (including some Florida-style mud splashing, courtesy of Russ

), and in the comments of one of the videos a guy from Asia was saying that there had been rumours that the production of Haflingers could be started again in Malaysia or the Philippines (I didn't cross check this). Apparently, the small Haffies are the best vehicles for their back-country roads and climate, efficient, not too pricey and easy to maintain.
I guess this Daihatsu mini-truck could find some commercial success serving as a modern-day Haflinger in some Asian countries...
