I saw this on ebay, and not having anything to do with the sale, I though it might stimulate discussion.

Is a Mercede's hood ornament on a Pinzgauer considered heresey in these forums? Looks like they replaced the windshiled wiper mechanism too.

Did you read the info on the truck? ford 3.0 motor. the body mod was to house the radiator.
Definately sacralige with the mercedes emblem.

I read about it and saw the pictures. I figured it wouldn't get favorable comments here, but I chose not to pick sides to see where the discussion might go

Do you think the owner is confused as to the manufacturer of the truck, and thinks like a G-Wagen it is a Mercedes, can't see any other reason to put a merc badge on! Maybe a ford badge if that's the engine...
If it wasn't for the misleading badge I actually like the styling and think it is at least as good as Pinzgauer II from BAE.

I knew there would be some varied comments on this vehicle--that is why I brought it to your attention. Perhaps the Mercedes emblem was to "pimp" their ride--how about some wheel spinners and some flashy chrome work too?
