Aren't earthquakes fun?

I'm sure most of us got to experience the roller coaster earthquake yesterday afternoon, hey a 7.2 is nothing to sneeze at. I even woke up this morning around 4:15 to feel another one.

the funny part is listening to CNN, MSNBC or FOX news. You'd swear that the whole West Coast was falling into the ocean! The best video coverage they have is a swimming pool overflowing?

Spoke with my Mom this am from Vista, she didn't mention it. Nothing on the news in Denver, may have missed it though.
Hope all is well there.

I was in my Pinzgauer offroading when it struck yesterday, about 100 miles north of the Mexican border, but only 5 miles from the San Andreas fault line. I was fortunate that this quake did not trigger the "Big One", as sometimes a quake on one fault line can set off another.

The videos of the water sloshing around in the pool was pretty compelling.

BTW - apparently this quake was of the same magnitude as the one in Haiti.

Hope all you SoCal Pinz people made it through in one piece.
