Paint stripping

I was reading a post on rocky mountain moggers of a member that had used a bottle of cyrstal drain-0 and five gallons of water to make a paint stripper that he claimed works really well. I wonder if this same mixture could be used to remove the red death coating from the inside of the fuel tank???? hmmm...any one have a rotted or bashed up fuel tank to try an experiment on??? if it worked could probably solve alot of problems for some Pinz owners.
