Hi Spandit
Looks very good. Nice lean on the first track.
Noticed water in your headlights if you take the lights out and drill a hole in the base it gets rid of the problem.
Next tiem you go to Broxhead give me a shout and I will try and come with you. Not been there for 30 years.

Thanks, Steve, was thinking about drilling a hole in the lights for that reason!
Is there a way of keeping water out of the distributor to stop the misfiring that occurred afterwards?

Your terrain and venue could have been here in Texas! We recently lost access to a venue that looked just like it. Enjoy your new toy.

Glad to see you are enjoying the Pinz, Spandit....but have you noticed that you find yourself doing things that maybe a landrover could do, but in the Pinzgauer you will do it at just over ticks over and no fuss at all....whereas in a Landrover it would be all flying mud and screaming engine.....Pinzgauer = extreme off roading with no effort at all.

My engine doesn't run as sweetly as the 200tdi - needs a good tune, I think. Going through water is less of a drama and difflockers are great, although without the articulation of the Land Rover you need them more.
Have noticed the silver coating on the headlights has come off where the water was sitting - they look remarkably similar to the Wipac lights on the Defender so a fairly cheap fix if so - assuming it's an MOT fail

Yes it is an MOT fail.
I washed mine out then painted what I could of the inside with silver paint using a small brush.
I Then drilled holes in the bottom for the water to drain out and resealed around the glass section.
That got mine through its MOT

Thanks, Steve. I've drilled holes now and might try painting them - have got some silver calliper paint that might do but could just modify some LR ones
