I got the split axle kit from Swiss Army, but my ever helpful wife threw away the packing materials, including the Locktite. No one here carries Locktite, although superglue was suggested as a substitute.

What say you, oh gurus of the PINZ?

(This is the price I pay for being "clutterblind" - unable to see "clutter" that my wife sees everywhere!)

Loctite 414 is actually a super glue that is formulated specifically for vinyls and rubbers. It bonds incredibly quickly (to fingers as well). I would think you should be able to find a suitable substitute at an auto parts store.
