Battery clamp

My Pinz didn't come with a battery clamp - how are these installed? Are the batteries just fixed to the slide-out tray (or is this another unique feature on my truck)?

Yup, they just clamp down to the slide out tray. Mine doesn't hold down very well, slips off of one battery or the other, plus the plastic tray starts to crack at the small slot. Will switch over to a strap down conversion soon.

My truck also came to me missing the battery hold down assembly. I just grabbed a couple of battery ā€œJā€ hook bolts from an old Mitsubishi Montero (first generation) at a pick-a-part and a piece of scrap metal. Someday I may make a better one however this is working well for now.

Mine did not come with a clamp either. I made my first one from a piece of hardwood (oak, I think). Next one was from a piece of matal that I got from Michael in Ramona. The batteries are best secured perpendicular to the batteries otherwise they slide around.
I did get an original one from Scott and have that in my spare parts box.
