Anyone know the lowest tire pressure I can run with my stock Maloya tires on my 712? I am still getting used to the new ride. Unless I misread the users manual they recommend the same pressure on all surfaces. Jim

The simple answer is ZERO. Throw the Maloyas away and get some good radials especially if you are talking ride quality. Around here with the radial replacement tires most consider anything below 20psi too low. The tires come off the rim to easily below that pressure. I don't know anyone still running Maloyas or any other tube tire. Seems most of the military/government agencies don't acknowledge lowering tire pressure, they just follow manufacturers recommendations.

Throw the Maloyas away. Life is too short.

If the tires are still in good shape and you are not ready to replace them, then experiment with pressures. Tube tires can be ran alot lower then tubeless but I would suspect for road driving around 25psi would be about as low as I would go. In off road rock crawling mode you could drop them all the way down to 5 PSI as long as you had a way to pump them back up after your climb.

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately at this time I can't afford to buy 7 new tires like I would like to do. Any long road trips the Pinz will be on my trailer but I do have a Co2 system to add pressure when I need it. Jim
