After all of the questions that get posted about what different decals mean, I was wondering if any of y'all had ever seen one of these?

I descovered several of them buried in the bottom of a drawer. I'll investigate how much it might cost to have some made and will report when I learn those details.

Kind of looks like a must have sort of thing. Not that a pinz needs extra attention anywhere.

Very cool - add me to your list of "Wanters."

By the way, what's with the other labels? I don't have a "Max. Geschwind" or a "Gruppenschaltung." And where are these decals located?

While we're talking decals, what's with the one I do have? Should I be worrying about using unleaded gas? Not that I've been having nightmares, but someone in this group probably has the full story, and it would be nice to know. :)

Blei in german translates to lead. All it says is Leadfree. If you're asking because it has the X through it.... Mine does too, but the one above the tank doesn't. Not sure why they crossed them out?

This old chestnut again... do a thread search - lots of comments about whether or not the Pinz is meant to be lead-free. Early vehicles had that sticker (i.e. don't use lead-free) but these are frequently covered by a second sticker saying lead free is okay. Whether the Swiss ever did anything other than swap the stickers seems a bit of a mystery - but most seem to run happily on lead free...

oh! i definitely want one too! .. but do modify suitably for the pinzgauers ( maybe something about engine noise in cab!)

Meanwhile.. the decal above misses the last sentence ( more for computer panels.. i guess)

- relaxen und watchen das blinkenlights. (after all it's on the lever panel - so it could apply)

A authoritative summary of the above , original & others (Computer/ Internet/ PalmPilot)

have fun!
