I need to replace or repair the Brake Master Cylinder on my C306, But I'm having a spot of bother finding parts or kits!
Like with the wheel cylinder is there any Rover parts that I can use? or are there and repair kits that don't take the mick price wise?

Cheers
Gav

First what's the problem with the brake master cylinder?

Alos take it out of your Volvo and measure it up. Lenght and inner diameter.
Probaly you can take one of a Volvo 164 with hydrolic brake assist.

If you have it out of your Volvo let me know the brand and number on it,
than I can look it up for you and tell you how to find one.

Thanks for the reply

Well all the Wheel Cylinder where basically seized, so when when looking at the Master Cylinder I could see it has had a fluid weak. So now I'd like to at least replace the seals.

I'll take it off and come back with the relevant sizes etc
Cheers

Tatanka might be selling original parts, but there's no way I'm spending over £700 for a Master Cylinder!!

I hope you realize there are also 2 remote hydraulic brake assist cyinders on the boosters as it is a diagonaly split braking system.
They are not cheap. If you have brake fluid dissappearing, you will find it in the boosters. I pulled at least a liter out of the 1 bad booster I replaced on Greg's 303.
