Travelling on the Interstate

Kudos are in order for our American neighbours...

It has been awhile since I drove any distance along the Interstate highways in the U.S.

I am currently in South Carolina for some sun 'n' fun with the family, and I had forgotten just how nice the rest stops all along the Interstate system are! You guys have certainly 'done it right'!

Our Civil Engineers that design the highways in Canada could take a lesson from these roadways. I stopped in at a brand new facility on the North Carolina/South Carolina border and it was magnificent! Probably the cleanest, nicest-looking, public facility that I have ever been in!

Not Pinz-related....but hopefully I can get back soon with the Pinz on a long-distance camping trip!

I was thinking the same thing about the Canadian camp grounds. Inexpensive to camp beautiful locations, Brand new clean bathrooms and huge piles off wood that you can buy cheap just on the honor system! Here in the states that’s much harder to find!
