I've made a purchase from Jim of Goatwerks and am wondering if anyone is heading east in the near future. I bought a moped from him and also need my Drill Press shipped as well. I'd rather put the money in someones hands to put towards gas money than pay Fed ex, UPS, etc...

If you are flexible you can often get backhauled on uship.com very reasonably and often much quicker than traditional shippers. You could put a post up and see what happens, you don't have to accept any bids. Usually it takes a few days to a week before a really good deal settles in. Check feedback and such but I have had a number of bikes out and in and never any issues or damage.

Thanks for the heads up. I never expected free. Even private parties would get some gas money. I will check with them.
