RAF 718 Ambulance

Would make an awesome expedition camper, but alas, too new and RHD. Three owners in the UK will be happy.

If you notice, this is built on a 5 door platform with a entry on the "curb" side and a cubby on the other.
One of my early 'ideas' was maybe make a camper on my 716 the same way and eliminate the rear door

Oh now that is to cool, RHD has never been a problem for me in the past. Only problems I see is getting it here and licenced

I had a good look at one of these ambulances while at RAF Leuchars in Scotland. The crew informed me that they typically leak rain water into the cab and on close inspection they are in quite shabby condition. I wanted to like them but in reality my 1976 710K is in a lot better condition!
