Big Foot Haflingertreffen update

Hello to all,
We are now a mere six weeks away from the 3rd annual Haflingertreffen Nordamerika. In speaking with Bruce T.C., this event’s local guru, chief organizer and guide, this is going to be one very special weekend. The location for on-site camping will be on ample private property at the far north end of Willow Creek, CA. There is river access and it is a stone’s throw from the forest service land through which we will be traveling during the treffen. This location will also make quick jaunts into Willow Creek proper an easy proposition. Be prepared to be Steyr-Puch Haflinger ambassadors as you will likely get a lot of inquiries at most every stop. For those interested in vintage aviation, Bruce has also provided information about a nearby event going on late that week. Please go to:

In order to better plan for the gathering, it would be helpful to get a rough idea of the number of people planning to attend this year’s event. Please send a note using the NWMF contact page.

and enter Haflingertreffen 2012 in the subject line. We will then send back more specific directions and additional details of the event. Weather should be very nice in early June and the scenery is spectacular.
Hope to see many of you there.
Take care.
