I have been looking at trucks and was wondering what the going rate is for a clean stock truck is, lets say a 7.5 out of ten on all fronts. No modifications.
I know there are so many factors , but a range within 2k.
Thanks!

Wouldn't it also depend on whether it's a K or an M?

Also depends where it came from and when. For example Swiss or part of the Austrian army's contracted body off refurb/rebuild of all their fleet in the mid 90's by SDP. EI and SAV both have had a couple of these and put a premium the latter compared to the typical CL or ebay owner selling theirs with minor or no "customization". Many more Swiss 710Ms in the US than the Austrian from my casual reading. It's my understanding that we have pretty much all the gassers we are going to get and there aren't really all that more available.

Thanks guys, I am sorry for the broad question. I am specifically referring to the truck listed by Oham1 in Dallas on the classified to cut to the chase. I am looking for a truck that can be enjoyed, not a project. Thanks for all your input!

There is a real nice 710M that will be coming up for sale in the Phoenix area. The owner has recently gone the 712 way and will be selling his 710.

I guess it depends along on the buyer's and seller's interpretation of "the condition" upon inspection.
Someone commented earlier on not wanting a project but wanting enjoyment. I have watched classifieds and transactions varying by MORE than $10K on 710Ms that are non-projects at various definitions. One classified sold here almost instantly for $22K, but it was to all specifications perfect. But it is up to you to decide whether a running Pinz with wear and rust is not a project, or one completely gone through is not a project (and this doesn't mean it doesn't need work), or a showpiece is not a project. The prices seem to vary quite a bit and it is hard to generalize without really going through the truck. But as someone mentioned, there is likely an element of "it is the stingy man who pays the most" in things like this.
I am certainly far from an expert, but I'm local and if anyone is really serious about that Dallas 710M I could see if I could look it over closely if you can arrange it with the seller. He's probably 30-40 minutes away (by car, not by pinz

)

A 36 year old truck that Is not a project? You will find some reliable beauties that folks have.Invested time and money to get them turn key "enjoyable"', but they will be far from stock. Boots, seals, electrical, , etc... don't last forever. Someone's got to do the upgrades (shatter resistant DOT glass? Petronix ignition? Safer seats in front, seat belts for the kids in back?) and maintenance, all that factors into the price.

The oham pinz in Dallas looks pretty nice to me. Better than the one I mentioned earlier. The Dallas truck is a 710m radio which I personally like. They used to have about 1/10 the mileage of troop carriers AND they were stored indoors by the Swiss. It doesn't look like its been messed with, BUT this is all based on 1 picture and its been a long time since it left Switzerland and a lot could have happened since then. What is the one in Garden Valley, ID going for?

I would think most of the 710M's in decent condition would fetch around $10K to $11K. The upgrades can either add or detract from the price depending on what was done and who the buyer is. In my case I would have to get $12K out of mine before considering selling. I have put the complete armor package that Tim sells on it and swapped engines with a much fresher unit. I know some don't like to see the addition of such items but then that is up to each individual buyer and the way they intend to use the truck.
In the case of the pinz you usually get what you pay for. That is to say that a $5K pinz will more than likely cost another $5K to get it into road worthy condition. While a $14K pinz is more than likely ready to hit the trails without a hiccup.

That is very general too - and that statement 100% depends on the sellor (just because it costs more does not mean it is better

)
