Search for roof fabric only shows fabric for seats and no mention of roof type fabric. Not interested in Sunbrella type stuff just the rubberized original type.
Where can it be sourced? Any stateside places?

If you're looking for a small piece, some Swiss surplus backpacks are made of the same material and can be found inexpensively. Or, the Swiss shop is showing brand new tops made by the original manufacturer-
http://www.pinzgauer-techshop.ch/reifen.html I'm sure it won't be cheap if an 18" x 18" square is about $50.
Maybe EI or SAV have imported some of the fabric?

In my line of work we refer to that type of material as "Herculite", so perhaps try searching for that.

Are you looking for just the material or does it have to be the correct green.
One of the US largest suppliers of this type of material is located about a mile away from my work but have discontinued the Army green color. I can get the same fabric in dozens of other colors for about $14 a yard. I re-did my rear seats in Battleship gray and have done other projects with the black.

Not necessarily the OD color, although it would be better.
I am making a camping trailer and wanted to have a top to match the pinz but black or dark grey might work.
A friend has given me a HMMV top in a sand color and I may use a piece of that. Just trying to source the stuff. When I lived in WA, I went
to Seattle fabrics and they had so many types it was dazzling to walk through.
There is a surplus store in Seattle on 1st ST that has tarps that are very waterproof for a decent price but I am a long way from there now.
Thanks for your post.

Rex Pegg Is the place I am refering to, They do not sell to the public unfortunatly, you have to have a buisness licence. If you want to use them and don't have a BL, I can act as a middleman and order it for you. I would order it paying the tax though so I don't have to account for it at the end of the year.
