Haflinger Handout

I went to a bunch of shows (very informal shows) this summer and while I love talking and discussing the Hafi - 95% ends up with me saying the same thing to everyone that walks up and sometimes hard to explain.
I have used handouts before for other cars/vehicles I have owned so I put this together for fun and as a simple 'cheat sheet' so people can take a quick look (I print it out in color booklet form) and then start asking away.
I tried to make it fun and light so that is why I chose the comic book type of format.
Anyhow - thought I would post it so others could use it or comment on it - you may see your Hafi - if you have any issue with this let me know and I will remove it.
It is a work in progress and I am working to expand it and include some basic Hafilinger history as well (bit more reading vs looking at pictures :) ) Any help is welcome as to what content to add/remove and I am always looking for great Haflinger pictures!

Wow I must admit that is a great idea, I have never used a handout before but after seeing this I think I will print a few out.
Also I may take what you made and change the last part to encorporate the Pinz info.
Thanks Dan for doing and sharing this!

+2 on everything above. Great work! Things I never knew, like the link to Mannlicher.

I spelled Daimler wrong on the 1st page :)
I will fix tonight and upload a new version tomorrow morning
If people would like a Pinz one I am happy to help put one together or add it on (trying to secure a 710m Pinz for purchase so I will need it too if purchase works out!)
Thanks,

Dan,
After selling you my NA Haflinger, I never would have guessed that you would become a Haflinger fanatic. I'm glad to see the results of this, and I hope that my previous vehicle contributed to this in some positive way. I think your brochure is fantastic.

Cheers,
Greg

From my research yes but I could be wrong (and I guess 'technically' it was Magna Steyr once Frank purchased it)
Surprising what they make/made!
I used Jeep just to get everyone at the shows to say 'what??'
Here is where I found some info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magna_Steyr

I made a poster board for my pinz for a car show a couple of years ago. It's not nearly as fancy or detailed as Dan's booklet, but it saved me from having to answer the most common questions.

Hey Greg,
I definately got Hafi fever once the vehicle hit my driveway! I was driving it everyday (dam winter) and love how capable, over engineered yet simple they are (and fun!).
Thanks for selling it to me :)

Re the PDF: I have updated it to correct a few small errors - if you downloaded it you should redownload the new file (new URL/link).

Dan, setup a DropBox account. They are free and have more than enough storage to accommodate the file. Once setup, you drop the file in the "public" folder and simply provide the link to everyone to download. I use it for the many Iltis manuals I obtained and wanted to share. You can even install the SMART phone app (iPhone) and upload pictures and other things directly into the Public folder. Very handy.

Case in point:

Dan,
Glad to be of service. When do you plan to add a Volvo C303/TGB11 to your flock?

Cheers,
Greg
