and decided to give them a try. Arrived today and I haven't mounted them yet but did hook them up to test them. Very nice bright white flood pattern (60º). I'm thinking of putting one in the rear bed. They have a lot of other interesting lights and bulbs also. I picked up one of their LED Safety Flares It can recharge from 24V as well as 12V and 120V and it has a strong magnet too.

Being I'm a visual-first person,I was relieved that the red light was not some sort of "mood" lighting!

Follow-up on the LED safety flare:

It's a well made product and seems sturdy. LEDs are suitably bright at night but I'd prefer brighter. There's a few blink patterns to choose from, some more noticeable than others. The charging system is easy to use and the cigarette lighter plug says 12-24V on it. I don't know if there's a mini convertor in the plug or if it's the flare that can take 12 or 24. It also comes with the 120V wall charger.
One complaint is that the magnet could be stronger. It's okay for stationary use but I don't think it would stay on during movement.

For $20 it seems like a good deal and lots safer than incendiary flares.
