Civilian Conversion well worth it!

710M was running good, not great, still felt a little "off". My buddy Mopar took some time last evening to help me install the EI kit, less the Pertronix that was already in it. The difference is night and day, I guess it must be the better spark/hotter plugs, but I found this to be the best upgrade I have done, period!

Definitely the way to go....not to mention the cheaper plugs, dizzy cover and wires!

Glad it's working good for you. For some mine has more wires than yours on the coil. Maybe my petronix is wired differently?

I've seen Pertronix wired a couple of different ways - some have the black wire from the Pertronix run out to the coil and others have the black wire connected to ground in the distributor. I've found the second way to be unreliable and have been told it's wrong.

It's also possible to have another wire connected to the coil if you have a tachometer.
