Thought that this might interest some of the Ontario Pinz owners
http://www.trailfest.ca/ I'm registering but its filling up fast from what I've been hearing. Thought it might be fun if we could get a few of us out to it.

I'd love to attend this, but can't commit until I know the Pinzie is all fixed up. Does this sell out completely every year?

Yup.
Keep in mind there are some AWESOME Crown land trails you can use anytime. I road many on the Ural.

True, just be cool to get together with a bunch fellow off-roaders for a weekend. Maybe we can still get us local Pinzies out this summer/fall....

There is a waiting list that you can be put on if its full when you register. When I registered the organizers immediately contacted me to confirm my Pinz was a 6x6 and sounded very exicted to see it in action. They said that someone showed up a few years ago with a 710 Pinz and put most of the Jeep guys to shame so it would be really cool if a few of us could make it. Maybe if someone emailed them later saying that they were coming with another Pinz that they might make an exception if they were already full...you never know right. Either way we all definitely need to have our own meet sometime this year.

I am going to contact them to see if I commit, but have to back out, they will reimburse me by selling to someone on the waiting list.

I'll go the waiting list route for sure. I agree, they may make an exception due to the type of vehicle. Good for marketing their event to have different vehicles out there.

I have to say, they are quick to respond to Email and seem to like the idea of the Pinzgauers attending. This is what I was told:
We have a refund policy, less a $25 admin fee. We'd need to know no later
than July 13th if you have to cancel. Would your work schedule be known to
you by that point? Yes, we pass along to the waiting list as it's
non-transferable between participants. Keeps it fair. Hope you can make
it! (Heads-up - the notice for the event will be up on a very popular Jeep
forum shortly and will likely cause the event to sell out within a couple
of days, if history repeats itself.
I am going to register.

Ok, so last night I am explaining to my wife how I'd like to go and too bad the Pinz is broke...on and on......and she says "well get it fixed and we'll go"......
Guess I might be registering after all. What the hell, if I don't get things sorted out it's only a $25 loss...
