This is a VERY RARE Steyr Haflinger 703 Long Wheel Base Polycab
It is a type 2 RIGHT HAND DRIVE FROM ENGLAND with folding flush rear seats in the bed

It is in great / amazing condition

NO Cancer, Great Body and bed

The GOOD
Runs and drives amazing.
no rust
brand new suspension and fluids
entire underside was blasted and coated (last forever)
the cab is in great condition no rot or issues
It is from the UK so it has a MPH speedo!!!!
all electrics work
recently tuned
Rebuilt braking system
Crank start handle is included (these are like a unicorn as far as rarity)
All factory imperial gauges. MPH.



The bad/needs
New valve cover gaskets (dripps a bit after a drive)
needs new tires ecentually (Mil Spec Bias are on it now too much rolling resistance)
could use a nicer paint job (Flat tan rattle can on it now looks good enough and does its job)
Few little cosmatic replacements could help...

Given the prices of Haflingers sold here of late, and as there were only 16 LWB Haffy's imported into Australia, if it was here, and priced at $16,000 and in good condition, I'm sure it would sell like it was going out of style......so I'm surprised it hasn't sold over there yet.

Due to rarity of this model and the small Hafi community worldwide...
I would put it on ebay (worldwide), get it on some of the European forums (even with Google Translate it is possible), post it to BaT and just get it out there everywhere and anywhere if you want to sell it.
My Hafi sat for a time but I was not 'actively' marketing it - if you want it to sell you gotta get it out there for tons of people to see it, post as much info as possible and as many photos as possible. Without that you will just get a few viewers and perhaps some tire kickers.
From what I have seen it is listed here and on Craigslist - so I would say you have exposure to a very small share of the potential market.
I would also fix the leaking valve covers - when people put things like that in an ad (even though it is just to be honest about the vehicle) it will raise a flag with buyers because for $20 you could have it fixed and have it advertised as a perfect engine vs "needs some work".
