In Florida with the family for March break vacation and Robert from TAC ends up being about 15 mins from me!
Emailed him last night and he has now setup a visit with 3-4 Pinz and his newest toy, a rare G230 setup from the factory as a fire rig with PTO that powers a 5kw generator!
Will follow this post with a full report and a ton of pictures for anyone interested.

Please ask Robert where he got the radio masts on the hood of the 712; I had emailed him a year ago but never got an answer from him. I'd like to get a similar mast for HAM radio emergency services.

He was not 100% sure of manufacturer but said they were from Germany and had the cabling inside the mast vs hanging outside.
He thought they could have been Webasto or whoever made the original ones.

I ended up getting there a little later than planned so I think all my pictures will be to dark.
His G230 is a very cool setup (less than 100 came from the factory configured this way)
Will add to this once I am back from vacation but Robert is a great guy and it was very kind of him to invite me over with such short notice.
I hope to see him on our board in the near future!

Geroh is one Euro manufacturer . Clark Masts is in the UK and has pnuematic ones. My Vampire has a 21m tall mast and I have spare 9m one.
And by 712, you mean the 4 door hardtop 710K

Thanks for asking about the masts. I, too, think they are made by Geroh but I can't get much from them about a product that is that old. I did come across a Geroh mast that is (I think) the same height but much heavier duty (meaning MUCH heavier - it takes two people to move) but it is very effective; I made brackets so it hangs from my exoskeleton. The lighter weight unit would be a one person job and would mount on the front of my 712 (instead on the front of their 710K; thanks, Dave, for pointing out that I am blind ).
