Got a nice package from Robert Prokschi today!
Gotta love the way it was packaged - and everything was in perfect shape all the way from Austria!
Muffler is SOLID
I have been running close to open pipes so my wife (and neighbors) will love the new muffler

Haflinger badge is not for my Pathfinder but for my desk

New muffler installed and it is now even more of a pleasure to drive (plus I can drive down my street at night and not have porch lights go on as I pass by

)
It is one tight fit that is for sure but the difference is amazing!

As requested...
Installed (and yesterday put on some new shocks that were on the shelf since last year)
The difference in the ride quality is amazing.
Before I would drive watching the road for every bump or hole as it would be pretty jarring - assumed it was the way the vehicle was or the small tires - now I don't feel them at all, quite something and very happy.
Almost there mechanically (few drips to take care of) and then last step is the paint - more on that later.

Are all your rebound straps "slack" on your Haflinger when sitting on its wheels? I know only two other Haflingers apart from mine. Both of those have the straps at full stretch when unloaded and mine are like your one in the picture "slightly curved" i.e. not under load.
I know - thread creep - the picture caused it!

Yes all straps have a slight curve when just sitting level and unloaded and that is on both Haflingers (71 and 72 NA Pathfinders)
Cheers,
