We finally got the Pinz motor pulled apart enough to investigate its condition after a deep water adventure hydrolock and subsequent sitting for a few years..Lots of corrosion, bent rods, etc...

So I am looking at going the "buy a complete" used set up route. anyone out there want to sell a complete working motor set up. Maybe you were just waiting for a 2.7 upgrade opportunity-mine motor needs a rebuild.
I can trade my exisinting basket case motor set up plus cash...Let me know your price...???

Or in case someone has a running driving Pinz for sale and wants to trade it for my "project" Pinz plus cash on my end I am open to investigating those options if I can keep the cash layout on my end under in the $3500-$4500 range...

What I can tell you is that I have had the engine started and running enough to work the gears forward and reverse.

Not exactly the description I'd be looking for, if I wanted an engine that's "ready to go". It sounds as if that truck's been ignored for a while, though I agree that it might be good "parts" vehicle at that price.

I see a lot of good stuff in that truck for the price

Shipping kills it for me though

Shipping should be about $1000 or less which would still make it a good deal

Costs almost half that to ship just an engine and all the bits across the country. And you can roll this one around.
