I'm still trying to think of how this might apply to camping/off-roading. Never seen anything quite like that. I wonder how durable it is? What if you did your tires (sidewalls) with it? Top? Behind panels and carpet, it looks like it might be a unique way to prevent rust as well.

Some issues with durability of coating but it is pretty cool stuff.
Make a cooler out of any box, spray your clothes when canoeing, spray outside of sleeping bag, parts of vehicle etc etc
Here is another vid

Neat stuff for sure but leaves a bit of a frosty residue on clear surfaces and dulls fabric colors. My neighbor just coated his rat rod with the stuff.
I used it on my boat deck and hull to see if it will cut down on barnacle growth and other things.

Interesting stuff, will be interesting to see what other products are developed.
The Rustoleum version may looks interesting however they mention that it creates a milky haze, and may affect some paints. They mention licensing the technology to three other companies I wonder if their products have the same "side effects".
For use on tires for it looks like it maybe great for street use however off-roading you may end up with a two tone tire as the areas of the sidewall that rubs in the mud would quickly loose the coating.
