Looking for a source. Mine has cracked and won't stay in place. Thanks!

Always look to the sponsors. We should keep them in our hearts so they stay in business and keep parts flowing.

My google-fu did not turn up much on the buckle button. I did find what looks like a decent replacement seatbelt assembly..

You would want the 110" with 18" buckle and regular shoulder loop based off my rough calculations. I have not tried these so no guarantees nothing would need to be modified.

I see your point. Seat belts from SAV are almost $300 vs the $80 from your link.

More than willing to use the sponsors (and have ) but did not see this plastic button on any sites. No need (I hope) to replace entire seat belt assembly, just the release button is broken.

If just the button I think you will need to look to someone with a parts Pinz

One of the guys in our pinz club had a parts truck. Rocky Mountain Pinzgauers here in the Denver area.
PM me and I can put you in contact.

I haven't tried this yet, but the seatbelt clamp and button looks identical to that in my old '83 VW GTI. Probably all old VW Rabbits.

Hmmmm.... you may be on to something. I am unfortunately semi-permanently geo-separated (1800+ miles! ) from my K. Please let me know if this would be a suitable substitute. A VW part cross-fitting to a Pinz is certainlly not a stretch.

Thanks :D (for thinking outside the box)!

Yup.

Pretty certain most MK1 VW belts would work. Same on my Iltis.

No idea if they are original or not, but the black plastic cover on the retractors on my belts have both the VW and Audi logos...

Have you tried a salvage yard or better yet the VW dealer?
