Loads of intermittent white smoke after carb rebuild?

the 712 runs better than ever now that Jim rebuilt my carbs, but I've noticed an intermittent issue since the reinstall. The truck will emit white smoke like crazy at idle while waiting at a stop light, or immediately after starting. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesnt. I quick rev of the engine will clear it all out in a huge puff. I'd like to determine if its a rich condition and pooling fuel or a coincidental oil issue
I have strong compression ~145-150 in each cyl. The truck starts immediately every time.

Mine smoked...rebuilt carbs...still smokes, just like yours. Mine also burns oil. Smoke must have something to do with that.

Mine did that once and only once. I thought something was amiss for sure, but it never happened again. Odd.

Valve seals or leaky brake master cyl? (into booster)

Jim, would valve seals change suddenly? I could imagine a sudden brake booster leak. I'll look into that! Thanks!

She's painting the side of the garage with black oil soot. Looks like its time for a rebuild.
Rings, honeing, and head work.
