Assorted pack of cheap carabiners! (D-rings)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005MG62RW
Or Harbor Freight
I know this sounds like a "Duh", but it never ceases to amaze me how handy the cheap assorted pack of carabiners are. I use them to hang things on the cage, but the most important uses come with the canvas top:
Ever have a tough time rolling up the sides on a cold day? The straps seem like they are just a half inch too short? Grab a couple of the small carabiners and clip them to the d rings. Now the straps will hook to the carabiners at just the perfect tension.
Have a problem with collecting water in the rolled up sides? Use a larger carabiner on the rear hook (or increase the size as you go back) and create a natural slant to drain out rain water.
Is the elastic cord from the elephant ears up and over the top too tight to attach the rear canvas? Use a couple carabiners to extend the reach.
(No this is not my favorite accessory. I'm keeping that one a secret til the end.)

Magnets for mounting things inside and outside.
I've use them for mounting flashlight (divider), big ones for backup camera (rear door), backup camera screen (cabin ceiling), 25mm neodymium glued to intercom, fan, phone. Drill out the center to remove the hooks and there is a center mounting hole for other things. Lots of ferrous metal on a Pinz.
Easy to relocate, remove, stow. No holes in the Pinz. Hold very tightly. And they are cheap at Harbor Freight.

or the little ones

Ok, I wanted to submit this oh-so-practical flexible and magnetic LED light:

...but I'm outside of the price frame by 64 Cents...

So I'll have to post something else ...

That's a cool LED. I use this one-
http://www.amazon.com/Ullman-Devices-UL ... 283&sr=1-2
My real suggestion for the list however is this-
http://www.amazon.com/MSA-Safety-Works- ... =ear+plugs. For any drive longer than 30 minutes, I'll use ear plugs. Plus, I find that I'm more tuned-in to the various rolling noises and vibrations from the engine and drivetrain when you eliminate the flapping, wind, and rattling noises.
