Clutch engagement pedal height

On my 710m the clutch engagement point seems kind of high at the top of the pedal stroke.
Is that typical?

The quickie test:
Try putting your Pinz in 4th gear and rev the engine a LITTLE bit and pop the clutch.
Your engine should die. If it keeps going at all, you're at the end of your clutch life.
