I wonder how well the engine is cooled. Given the radiator opening space and hp, it has to be close to not working too well.

I would not, under any circumstance, want to drive a C303 powered by a chevy V8. Sounds like, at best, a scary way to tip over and at worst a good way to rip your lower mechanicals to shreds. Those components were not designed for that kind of horsepower or torque, to my limited knowledge. I wondered if I would ever see some knucklehead try to 'merican-ize one of these to trash out there with his jeep buddies. Sad.
