The epitome of a Newbie

I've had the 710M for about 8 months. Got new rubber (re-treads), new top, all the fluids changed, tune-up, and civilian ignition conversion. I've drive it pretty often, but nothing adventurous yet. I'm not sure why it took so long, but I finally rolled the top back over the cab for the first time and drove to and from work yesterday. It's a silly thing, but I'm still grinning. Looking up at skyscrapers through the "roof", in the middle of the night in the cool Denver air just made me happy. Therapy on wheels.

Therapy on wheels.
Ain't that the truth! I hope I never have to be in the position to part with mine, or the wife with hers!

Yup. And congrats. I have had mine for 11 years and it's a part of the family. And me. The last few weeks I have been busy here in Florida getting ready for hunting season which means joining a "club". Which means joining up with other guys to rent land to hunt. My truck can go just about anywhere an ATV can without getting wet. And, I still can't get out of a gas station without "where did you get that thing."

Cool truck. Totally unique. And totally capable. Best $11,650 (and two cases of beer) I ever spent.

Ive had mine 2 weeks, so I know how you feel. I've waited 8 years. I just decided that this was the year I was going to buy mine. Now I know what a new father must feel, because I love my truck. I spend all my time either working on her or looking up information or parts. Of course I'm completely broke, how long will that be the case? Probably untill I at least am able to get it legal. Brian.
