If your Pinz has the fuel injection and ECU upgrade, and includes as Mass Air Flow sensor
you may want to invest in a can of Mass Air Flow cleaner and Throttle body cleaner.

I had my doubts this would do much of anything. However after cleaning the MAF sensor, I
was pleasantly surprised how much smoother idle is, a boost in RPM, and more consistent
AFR readings. Makes sense, the MAF is eating all the trail dust before it gets to the air filter.
A new checkoff item with every Oil change.

Shouldn't the MAF be located after the air filter as in most vehicles? It seems odd that it is placed before it. Most EFI vehicles have it placed 3-4 inches upstream of the throttle body.

Yes, ideally the MAF would be down stream from the air filter.
To do that for those who do have this conversion and run with the stock Pinz A/F
the MAF is located at the throat of the air intake -- no other place to put it. Not
the ideal location, though this has been the 1'st time I ever cleaned this sensor,
and it's been only this last year that idle has been rough. I think I can live with this
with an occasional dusting and cleaning at each oil change
