Any decent upholstery shop can make front seats for you if you take the frames to them. Pick out some good material online (fabric.com, for example) and the shop can make the cushions. The original seats are as comfortable as wooden bleachers. I had my seats made in this manor, and would never go back to the originals.

AMEN to that! Stock are good for those who like to park their trucks in a garage then go out and look at it once in a while. For those of us who actually put miles on these trucks stock is just insane.

Got seats from a Honda and sold the OEM seats. they are a pain to drive any distance on. I am sure someone will want yours in trade.

I have an extra set of stock front seats, but have no need to trade for aftermarket ones. I may consider other trade or cash.

Can you post a picture of the seat frames? I have three sets of after market seats for the pinzgauer  The first two were too high as well, but that was due to my mounting designs. The third set is much better. (and no, i didnt buy new seats each time :D I came across new seats that i built up while the previous were already in the truck)

Beard non adjusting off road racing seats
CRX SI seats
Corbeau Racing seats from a 1986 corvette (by far my favorite)

You may be able to modify what you have now and drop it a couple of inches

Please post pictures of what you have. I have a set of originals and a set of aftermarket that I'd consider trading.

Everyone may as well post pics - it would be good to see how people are mounting seats!
Thanks

Andre is going to try and get my Smart car seats as low as possible - will post pics
Most comfortable for me (in terms of height) is sitting on the floor boards :!:

Is there any definitive answer to which seats fit the 'best'. IE: Minimal work in adapting and sits nice and low? I haven't seen any that look bad, but everyone seems to do something different. I may be willing to give up some OEM seats here in a few weeks.
