I wonder how they do in the mud, figure the honycomb would get filled up changing the weight and dynamics of the tires.

Re: No more flats!
Do they come with a 24 hour guard? I can just imagine how quick they might 'walk' away on their own.
It is a great idea too long in the coming. I remember the old solid rubber wheels on gramp's tractor down on the farm.
Not very comfortable but they never had to be changed.

The rocking when it stops would take some getting used to.

Fill up with mud like crazy - throws balance out like mad!
Thump thump thump
Would be ok in rocky area but they are really best for indoors on a forklift
Just my 2 cents

Re: No more flats!
I thought that one of the first things we were supposed to do in mud/sand or rocks when we loose traction, is to lower the tire pressure to increase the "footprint".... by 50% as I recall from one site. Markedly better traction.
Then re-inflate the tire for better handling and mileage on the highway.
With these, it seems to me you get either an "off road" or an "on road" tire, with out the ability to have the best of both.
(Good news: the price of Staun's will plummet! )

Re: No more flats!
Their filling up with mud would seem to be a problem. Pretty cool looking though!
