Can't get to rear castle nuts (mainly the massive cotter pin) and trying to slide backward the DL hits tranny.
What is involved with removing the center tube as per my photo below?
Easy to re-align driveshaft and bolt back together? Would I need a new gasket, anything to watch out for, etc??
Thanks,
Dan

After removing the nuts, find the 2 threaded holes in the steel flange side. Thread in a 8x1.25 bolt to slit units apart. Use a new gasket going back together and do not loose the wave shim or coupling.

wave shim or coupling.
Any alignment issues if I just split, remove DL and reassemble
Thx!

I bet they are filled with dirt, one on each side of tube.
The through bolts for the bars have tapered collets. the bars come off without separating the drive line. remove the lower shock bolt first.
