I have always liked the Praga and well impressed with vids of it pulling large loads of wood out of forests......but I think it has a top speed of around 35 MPH which makes it a bit too slow for main roads or long distances.

For sure, their road speed is not great. I've been unlucky enough to get behind one on a narrow mountain road south of here...20 minutes before the guy checked his mirrors and "slowed down" to let me pass. Around where I am there are plenty of Gaz 66, Zil 157 and 131, and a few Urals working the forests. All with the original V8s, albeit running LPG. Gotta love that V8 rumble passing first thing in the morning!
