I was able to crank the truck, but it didn't fire...
Cranking was NOT what i had in mind, ...
The ignition key has 3 positions; it did not do anything in the first one, but it immediately started cranking at the second ...

My Pinz has never been a standard model. A widened civilian body, a non-split windscreen(exception in Austria), fuses like the swiss ones, and a weird combined ignition switch/light switch.
Now the wiring harness has disintegrated, and the closest I could get to the original one is a swiss ...

I have used these rims for years, until I changed to disk brakes from the Diesel, and thus I use 5 x 130 now.

the kit includes a pilot bearing for the crankshaft and a new throwout bearing.

I put the pulley in the oven heated up to 150°C, and it slid on...

well, a quick review of the mods I've done:
power steering
tubeless tires on Ford rims
LED headlights
seats from a Smart minicar
Pertronics ignition and civilian wires / spark plugs/ distributor cap
machined off 2 mm from cylinder heads to increase compression when running with 95 octane ...

The Diesels have a different tail end to the petrol models.
Dale at Haflingertechnik or Greg at Shropshire Gunbus are your best ports of call in the UK.

Watch out for the hole pattern. The 4 bolts on the top are 85 x 45 mm, which allows the use of the revolving shackle designed for Landrover Defenders ( search for Bearmach BA 2682)
The bottom section is 83 x 56 mm which is the standard for 4 hole towing balls.

I use nuts from a tuning shop in Germany.
They offer M8 nuts for 10 mm spanners.

This allows me to torque the carbs to 20 Nm

I replaced my mechanical pump with an electrical. Saves you the cranking at cold start.
