Twin groove pully! Me want one! Seriously, can those be had for purchase?

When I removed the pully to install Hall Magnets for the FI project I used lots of WD40/Break Free, an industrial heat gun (big hair dryer) and patience. Once you remove the bolt then even more patience is required to ...

Yes, I have given up on the XL's. It is a shame they were discontinued as they did seem to be made for swing axle vehicles.

But more to the point of the post...what do you think of commonly available tires from Truxus, Mickey Thompson or Cooper?

Simex...do you mean the ST Combat series http://www ...

Rounded contact patch tires, Truxus, Cooper or Mickey Thom..

Since we drive swing axle trucks has anyone gone out to deliberatly select the tire with the most rounded contact patch profile?

What did you find/observe.

The Mickey Thompson MTZ's look pretty rounded to me.

Try 4 wheel parts, I have got both sets of my Interco TSL Radials there, only needed a day to get them from their central wearhouse in LA, as far as the Traxus M/T's they seemed to be in fairly good supply on the showroom floor, Like Mike said the Interco products are very bullet proof, have yet to ...

Well Jake
I made up one unit in SS several years ago, and advertised it on this site at a projected $450 a pop. NO TAKERS or interest.

Best of luck
Dennis

That is funny, I thought I was on your "waiting list" for the SS heat exchanger, it sounded good what with the ceramic coating on the outside ...

Try - http://www.trudesignwheel.net/contact_info.html True Design Wheel.

I think that they can make most anything you want in a steel wheel as long as it does not involve making a large offset wheel (like when attempting to replace a Mercedes G500 alloy with steel wheels - ask me how I know!)

Lets hear some details...Did you strip, sand, prime and paint yourself? What paint (brand and color) did you use? Any tips for us with ugly Pinzgauers?
