steering wheel replacement

a brand new wheel from switzerland arrived and it's gotta go on my pinz. it's actually TEXTURED.

do i need a special puller or anything else?

Who did you order your new wheel from? What was the cost? I am thinking about getting a new one because mine is cracked. Would love to see a pic of yours if it is different than stock. Let me know how your installation goes.

actually, i bought my pinz from peter nufer at action mobile in az. he sent me pix of it as it sat in some lot at some swiss army facility. i'd noticed the steering wheel looked very cracked. i complained and he said it would be no problem to to just get them to send me a new one! so dang! i accepted the gift. also included as gifts were some new boots (originals got trashed by the flatbed truck chains on the way from az to my place), tail light parts, some other stuff. when i got my pinz i discovered the wheel was not nearly as bad as it looked in the pic. it was the camera flash at night that did it. i'm still going to install it, tho - it's NICE - and use the original one to make a wheel like mike nims'. mike's got a very nice wheel on his. more dish, larger dia cross-section, 1/2" smaller overall dia. that process is on his swp site.
