Weber carbs

Post by pinzinator »

This might be a complete waste of a post, but has the idea of Weber carbs ever been brought up? I had a set on a Datsun Z car once and it ran OK. Adapting the manifolds and linkage on the Pinz might be a problem. Just curious.

I have thought of this.. BUT the older Webers that have a bolt pattern similar to a Pinz are progresives that flow WAY less than the Neniths. The Weber DCNF is similar but has all the quirks of the Zenith as well.

Neither of them have float bowls that are as superior as those of the Pinz Zeniths on serious inclines.

EFI is about the only way to beat the Zeniths- IMHO. Thats covered.
