MX 6707 antenna mount

Does anyone have any experience with dissassembling the antenna mount on top of the Pinz? The spring on mine is bent and I want to replace it. The spring is readily available from Fair Raido and other places but it doesnt come apart for the antenna mount very easily. I'm not talking about the bolts that hold it to the mount but rather removing the spring from the top portion where the antenna screws onto and the bottom plate that attatches to the matching unit.
