Carb screws

Carb screws
I'm having trouble with the front carb cap screws vibrating loose, they loosen up while driving and I loose power on 2 cylinders, has anybody had luck using locktite on these to keep them snug?

Don't use loctite on that area, you will live to regret it.
The screw is "turn resisted" by the pressure exerted by the spring.
Try to investigate why it turns, weak/broken spring, junk/debris between the spring coils, or worn components (threads etc).
Those screws are not expensive to replace (if needs be) in fact I think I have a few floating around if you need a pair.
Excuse the pun 'floats -floating, carbs etc"

Sorry Dennis, I should have elaborated, these are the 5mm bolts that hold the top cover on the carbs, the original ones vibrated out on a trip to Az, I replaced them with some bolts from NAPA and installed lock washers, before this hunting trip I noticed that 3 were missing again, so I replaced them and they vibrated loose on the way out of the mountains yesterday, It seemed like too much air was getting into the front carb and I lost the power from 2 pistons, The truck started fine, idled fine but no power when I tried to get back on the hwy. I tightened them up again and the truck started running well again, 65 MPH towing a trailered ATV.
