Brake fluid type

Post by pinzwheeling »

Well Jim, it appears you were right. As soon as it started getting cold, my master brake cylinder started dribbling. What type of brake fluid do I need to top it off with? DOT 3 or 4 I'd assume, but I can't find it in the manual.

Thanks,
Michael

DOT 3 and 4 are compatible, DOT 5 is not. I use 4.

I do not like this word "bomb." It is not a bomb. It is a device that is exploding. Jacques le Blanc
