Noise

I just got a 712M and when I drive it on the freeway at 80km/hr the noise is unbearable. It sounds like a high pitched shrill coming from the front of the motor. When I put in the clutch at speed and engine returns to idle its quiet so its probably not gear noise. It almost sounds like fan or Alternator noise. Also, with the cover off the engine sounds like the one in our 710. Any ideas

You could try balancing it

I was driving it some more today and alot of air was coming in from in front of the dog house so I put on some foam weather stripping and it is now about the same as our 710.
