710K Hatch lock (?)

So... Has anyone with a "K" ever come up with a good way to secure the hatch above the passenger seat?

The rubber bunjee just isn't cutting it for me.

I've tried shortening it, but the hatch still has a tendency to rattle a lot and occasionally lift up - especially when driving on a windy day.

I know you guys always come up with creative solutions, so I figured I'd ask around before re-inventing the wheel on this one.

I just took off one of the larger rubber strap that was at the back of my K on the wall and replace the one on the hatch with it.

They are larger and shorter than the one up front. It works for me for more than a year now and i went through a lot of windy days.

Ordered a replacement strap from SAV for mine...rattles are gone nice & tight
