Hydraulic Bleeder Caps

Post by ms1223 »

Does anyone know where I can purchase those rubber hydraulic caps? I've looked for them at Napa and the other larger chain stores. They all want to sell me vacuum hose caps. The threads about lockers not working has me thinking it's time to flush the system(s). I've never done it since owning the Pinz and if they are as dirty as the brake lines were they should need it.

I'm guessing from the wording of your message that you think the rubber caps have to be replaced after, or as part of, flushing/bleeding the brakes. That isn't the case. Unless the caps are lost or very trashed, you can reuse them.

Otherwise, the usual dealers should have them.
