Bent steering rod

I beleive I have a bent steering rod - it looks bent - the tire on the bent side is wearing uneven. Can I simply remove the arm and bent it back straight?

While it may be repairable in the field, it is wise to replace bent tie rods as once they bend they are weakend :cry:
